The Chicken sitter - ceramic is a ceramic chicken holder for the kamado. Stand a whole chicken upright on the chicken sitter, fill the bowl at the bottom with beer, wine or herbs and let the chicken cook indirectly in the kamado. The result: a juicy chicken with crispy skin and a subtle flavour from the liquid in the bowl.

Maintenance tips

Allow the chicken sitter to cool completely before cleaning. Remove residue with a dry brush. Do not wash ceramic parts with soap — any remaining residue will burn away during the next heating.

Need more information or advice?

Fill the bowl with lemon juice, rosemary and garlic for a Mediterranean chicken marinade from within. Cook at 160–180 °C for 60–90 minutes depending on the size of the chicken. Questions? Get in touch.
