Usage instructions
Close the parasol in strong wind, rain or during prolonged absence and always use a suitable parasol base for sufficient stability. Clean the fabric with lukewarm water and a mild soap solution and allow it to dry completely before closing the parasol again or storing it in the cover.

How heavy should a parasol base be?
As a rule of thumb, allow at least 10 kg per metre of pole length. A 3-metre parasol therefore needs a base of at least 30 kg. For cantilever parasols an even heavier base is recommended.
