This gives you more space on your patio, and there is no parasol base on your patio when you store the parasol. The inground parasol base is simple to install: Dig a hole, place the parasol base, fill the hole with sand again, and it is ready for use! Suitable, among others, for Platinum Sun & Shade: Challenger, Falcon, Solarflex, Deltawing. Beach7: Granada, Rhodos, Kos. Garden Impressions: Hawaii. Life: Palermo, Tenerife, Cyprus Napoli. How heavy should a parasol base be?
As a rule of thumb, allow at least 10 kg per metre of pole length. A 3-metre parasol therefore needs a base of at least 30 kg. For cantilever parasols an even heavier base is recommended.
