Features & benefits of the Deva

Energy-efficient LED technology: With just 1.8 watts energy consumption and an impressive lifespan of 25,000 hours, the Garden Lights Deva is very economical to use. Your electricity bill stays low while your garden remains beautifully lit. The LED SMD GU5.3 is easy to replace, so you'll have good light for years to come.

Robust outdoor construction: This outdoor light is made of plastic and has an IP44 rating – that means protection against splashing water and dust. Protection class III and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C make this garden light suitable for both harsh winters and hot summers. You don't need to worry about weather and wind.

Warm-white light for cosiness: With a colour temperature of 3000 Kelvin, the Garden Lights Deva emits a warm, pleasant light that casts your garden in a cosy glow. This type of garden lighting is ideal for evenings outdoors – it feels understated and natural, not cold or sterile. So you get both: safety and atmosphere in one light.

Easy installation with 1.5 metre cable: The included 1.5 metre cable and the included wall plug and ground spike make installation quick and easy. You simply secure the light in the ground or against a wall, connect it to your 12V outdoor lighting, and you're done. No fuss, no specialist knowledge needed.

Applications in the garden

The Garden Lights Deva is a versatile LED outdoor light that works well everywhere in your outdoor space. Many garden owners place this light along borders and flower beds – it adds atmosphere to your planted areas and ensures you can walk safely at night. The sleek form of approximately 46 centimetres high means it doesn't look intrusive, yet is still clearly visible.

On the patio or balcony, the Garden Lights Deva creates a warm, cosy light. Place a couple around your patio and you'll get beautiful, even lighting without harsh shadows. For your driveway, this outdoor light is also ideal – cyclists and pedestrians can clearly see where they need to go, and you reach your front door safely. Along garden paths and walkways, the Deva is a real asset for safety and atmosphere.

Installation & tips

The beauty of the Garden Lights Deva is that you don't need to call an electrician. This is a 12V garden light that runs on low voltage – much safer and simpler than 230V. You'll need: a 12V transformer (not included with this light, order separately) and possibly a fuse.

Step 1: Decide where you want to place the light. Want to put it in the ground? Then use the included ground spike – simply screw it into the earth at the desired location. Want to mount it on a wall or post? Then take the screws and plugs from the box and you're ready.

Step 2: Check your 12V cable and transformer. The Deva has a 1.5 metre cable – plenty to work with. Make sure your transformer is properly positioned, for example in a protected space such as a garden shed or under a carport.

Step 3: Connect the cable, switch on the transformer and enjoy your beautifully lit garden. Want to replace the LED? You can – unscrew the old GU5.3 and insert a new one. Very simple.

Frequently asked questions about the Garden Lights Deva

Can I connect multiple Deva lights to one transformer?

Yes, you usually can. Pay attention to the wattage of your transformer – the Deva itself uses only 1.8 watts, so you can connect quite a lot in parallel. Always check the specifications of your 12V transformer and make sure the total wattage is not exceeded. This ensures a long lifespan for both lights and transformer.

How long does the LED last in the Garden Lights Deva?

With a lifespan of 25,000 hours, this LED outdoor light lasts extremely long. Imagine: at an average of 8 hours per night, that means over 8 years of continuous use. In practice, your LED will last at least 10 to 15 years without any maintenance.

Is the Garden Lights Deva waterproof enough for rain and wet conditions?

Absolutely. With an IP44 rating, this garden light is protected against splashing water and dust. You can leave it outside without worry in rain, snow and wet weather conditions. The plastic housing doesn't rust and remains beautiful and functional for years.

Can I fit the Deva with a dimmer?

This model is not suitable for external dimmers, so you can't dim it. That's actually not necessary – the 3000K warm-white colour already provides a pleasant, not overly bright light intensity. If you do want dimming, you'll need to look at a different model.

What's the difference between the Deva and the Atera in the Garden Lights range?

The Atera is the bigger brother of the Deva – it's taller and looks more monumental. The Deva is the more compact model, ideal if you don't want your lighting to be too prominent. Both deliver the same warm, cosy atmosphere; so choose based on your space and personal preference.

Ready to really light up your garden? The Garden Lights Deva is the smart choice for anyone looking for a reliable, energy-efficient outdoor light. With 5 years warranty, easy installation and a warm appearance, you have a real winner here. Questions?
