Fabric quality| The luxurious multi-tone 240-gram Spuncrylic premium fabric in the Havana colour stays beautiful for a long time, is colourfast and offers optimal protection from the sun; up to 98% UV protection. The fabric has a water- and dirt-repellent coating. Parasol base| The parasol is supplied without a base. We recommend placing this parasol on a Platinum Sun & Shade Modena 150 kg parasol base (item no. 6086). It has swivel castors, making the parasol easy to move. Platinum Sun & Shade also offers an inground parasol base, Concrete (item no. 6906). The inground parasol base is fully installed in the ground. This gives you more space on your patio. The inground base is easy to install. Parasol cover| Keep your parasol looking like new and cover it with an AeroCover breathable parasol cover (item no. 7978) when you are not using it for an extended period.Maintenance tips

How heavy should a parasol base be?
As a rule of thumb, allow at least 10 kg per metre of pole length. A 3-metre parasol therefore needs a base of at least 30 kg. For cantilever parasols an even heavier base is recommended.
