Compare GF Garden Outdoor Showers

GF Garden is an Italian brand of garden products. On bol the brand appears as G.F. or GF, and the titles show the solar showers of the Sunny range. On this page you compare GF Garden outdoor showers with the key specifications and the current price at the retailer. Boender Outdoor does not sell anything itself: you always order from the retailer, with their delivery and terms.

The GF Garden models

  • Sunny Style: a solar shower with a round base in which the water warms up. According to the specifications it is 200 cm tall, with a curved pole and a shower head at the top.
  • Sunny Niagara: a solar shower with a large, round shower head. According to the specifications it is 210 cm tall.

Both models come in several colours, such as grey, blue and fuchsia.

How does a GF Garden shower work?

You connect the shower to the garden hose. The water warms up in the sun, and you set the temperature with the tap or mixer. On a cloudy day the water stays cooler. Because no electricity is needed, you can place the shower anywhere in the garden that the hose can reach.

What to look for

The Sunny Style and the Sunny Niagara are both solar showers; the main difference is the shape and the shower head. Look at the height and the spot: place the shower on a level, firm surface where the water can drain away, such as paving or gravel beside the pool. Compare the prices per colour as well, as they can differ. The Colour and Height filters help you find the model you want.

Showering safely

In full sun the water in a solar shower can get hot. So let some water run first and check the temperature with your hand before you step under it, especially if children use the shower. Connect the shower as the manual describes and set it up firmly so it cannot tip over. Drain it before the frost and store it away if the manual says so.

Maintenance

Rinse the shower head now and then so limescale and dirt do not block the spray, and check the garden hose connection for leaks. Wipe the column clean with water and a soft cloth; abrasive cleaners can damage the surface. If you will not use the shower for a while, turn off the tap on the garden hose.

Comparing prices

The same shower can have a different price per colour and over time. On this page you see the current price at the retailer; click through for the delivery time and terms. When comparing, also check what is included, such as a fixing kit, a mixer tap or a foot rinse.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the GF Sunny Style and the Sunny Niagara?

Both are solar showers that you connect to the garden hose. The Sunny Style has a round base and, according to the specifications, is 200 cm tall. The Sunny Niagara has a large, round shower head and is 210 cm tall.

Does a GF Garden shower need electricity?

No. The water warms up in the sun. You only need a garden hose to supply the shower with water.

How warm does the water get?

That depends on the sun and the outside temperature. On a sunny day the water can get hot, so always test the temperature with your hand first and add cold water if needed.

Can a GF Garden shower stay outside in winter?

Follow the manual for this. In any case, drain the shower before it freezes, so no water freezes inside.
