Compare MSpa hot tubs

Inflatable or frame spa
An inflatable MSpa, such as the Tekapo, can be set up without any digging. The frame spas, such as the Oslo, Denver and Rova, have a fixed wall and are sturdier. With the Model filter you choose between inflatable and fixed-wall, and with the People filter you see how many people a spa is intended for.
Filters, covers and insulation
For MSpa spas there are filter cartridges in various versions; the title states which models or build years a filter is intended for, and the manual of your spa states which type you need. An inflatable insulating cover sits on top of the cover and helps retain heat. An insulating bubble mat under the spa protects the base and insulates from the ground. Choose a cover or mat in the size and shape of your spa.
Setting up and connecting
Place a spa on a flat, sturdy surface that can bear the weight of the filled spa and the people in it. Connect it to an earthed socket with a residual current device (RCD) and follow the manual, including for the water temperature and how long you stay in the spa.
Safe use
Keep an eye on things when children are in or near the spa and close the cover when the spa is not in use. Regularly check that the cover closes properly and that nothing is damaged.
What should you pay attention to when comparing?
Compare the number of people, the shape and the outer dimensions with the location where the spa will be placed. A frame spa needs more space to set up and is heavier than an inflatable spa. Also look at what comes with the spa, such as a cover, filters or a remote control, so you know what you might need separately.
Storage and maintenance
Rinse the filters regularly and replace them when they no longer get clean. You store an inflatable spa by letting it empty, cleaning it and letting it dry thoroughly before folding it up, as the manual indicates. For a frame spa, follow the manual for winter use. An insulating cover and an insulating mat under the spa help retain heat, even as it gets cooler outside.
