Barbecook BBQ Wood Chips - BBQ Smoking Wood - Smoking Chips

These oak wood chips add a smoky flavour to meat, fish, vegetables or cheese on the barbecue or in your smoker. They are made from oak with a flavour profile described as oak and whiskey, so every dish takes on a recognisable smoky aroma. They work for both a charcoal barbecue and the Oskar smoker, and a handful is all you need.

• Material: oak wood, suited to use as smoking chips
• Weight: 2 kg in a pack of 1 piece
• Soak for at least one hour in water, then drain
• Rule of thumb: a handful of chips or chunks for a quarter of the smoking time
• For hot smoking at around 70 °C, wrap the chips in perforated foil or place the chunks directly on the charcoal

Suitable for: beef, lamb, pork, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruit, dairy products, cheese and vegan dishes.
