Nordlux is a Danish lighting brand with a clean, Scandinavian design. Outdoors, Nordlux is mainly about wall lights for the facade, the front door and the patio. On this page you compare Nordlux outdoor lights with the current price at the shop.

What does Nordlux offer?

• Wall lights: including Aludra, Blokhus, Coupar, Nico (round and square), Kyklop, Pontio, Front, Rold, Fold, Kinver and Luxembourg, in black, anthracite, sand or rust colour.
• Value sets: boxes of three identical wall lights, such as Dion, Elm, Monay, Cirella and Clarini, handy for a facade with several light points.
• Ground spots: the Andor recessed spot in stainless steel, rated IP67.
• Ambient lighting: portable battery lamps such as Ellen To Go, Sponge To Go and Bring To Go, and the solar Coupar table lamp.

Seaside versions

Fitting or LED module

Many wall lights take a separate bulb in an E27 or GU10 fitting, such as Blokhus, Nico and Pontio. You then choose the colour of the light yourself and can fit a smart bulb. Other models, such as Rold, Fold and Kinver, have a built-in LED module. Up and down lights such as the Aludra up & down and the Nico throw light along the wall in two directions. The Blokhus also comes with a sensor.

What to look for

Check the IP rating: IP44 is splash-proof and suits a spot under an overhang, IP54 copes better with dust and rain, and IP67 (on the Andor) is suitable for installing in the ground. Also look at the size: the diameter of the wall lights is listed in centimetres, so you can match the light to the facade. A larger light suits a wide front door, while a small wall spot works well by a narrow path or a side door.
