Trespa and ceramic as tabletops
Many Tierra Outdoor tables have a Trespa top, a hard sheet material that is resistant to sun, moisture and scratches. You will see finishes such as marble, ophira (light) and bergamo (dark). The advantage is that little maintenance is needed: wiping it down with a damp cloth is usually enough. You can also look at the lounge tables and side tables if you are looking for a table to go with a lounge set.
Putting together a loungeset
With Tierra Outdoor you can build a lounge corner from separate benches, lounge chairs, a footstool and a coffee table, or choose a complete set in one go. For a corner set, pay attention to the direction: left or right refers to the side where the chaise or corner section sits. Measure your terrace carefully and keep at least 60 cm of walking space around the set.
What should you look for?
Aluminium does not rust and is lightweight. Rope and wicker are weather-resistant, but cushions look best when you bring them indoors when it rains. Champagne and charcoal are the colours you see most often; choose a colour that suits your paving and other furniture.
Comparing prices
The prices on this page come from the shop and are updated daily. For loungesets, it pays to compare the price of a complete set with the separate benches, chairs and tables: sometimes your own combination is better value or suits your terrace better. The product page lists the dimensions, material and colour. With an alert, you can see when a product becomes cheaper or is available again.
If you are unsure about the size of a loungeset, lay out the outline of the set on the terrace with tape or garden hoses. This shows you straight away how much room is left to walk and for a coffee table.
Comparing with other brands
In the same segment, you can compare Tierra Outdoor with Taste by 4 Seasons and Suns. You can find an overview of all sets at the chair and bench loungesets page.
Frequently asked questions
What is Trespa?
Trespa is a brand of high-pressure laminate (HPL). It is hard, scratch-resistant and weatherproof, and is widely used for outdoor tables. Wiping it down with a damp cloth is usually all the maintenance it needs.
What does left or right mean for a Tierra Outdoor loungeset?
For sets with a corner or chaise section, left or right indicates which side that section is on when you are facing it. Check the layout in the product photo before you choose.
Can I combine Tierra Outdoor furniture separately?
Yes, benches, lounge chairs, footstools and coffee tables can also be compared separately. This lets you put together your own lounge corner to suit your terrace.
How do I maintain rope and wicker?
Rinse off dirt with lukewarm water and a soft brush, then let the furniture dry. Bring cushions indoors when it rains and cover the furniture in winter.
