Dolphin series

Dolphin has several series, such as the E10, the S100 and S300i, the Zenit, the Poolstyle, the Supreme and the Liberty. The Liberty robots are cordless and run on a battery; the other models work with a cable. There are also models for pools and swimming ponds, such as the Bio versions, and the Wave 90i for larger pools.

What should you pay attention to?

Check the title and specifications to see what pool size a robot is intended for, whether it cleans only the floor or also the wall and waterline, and whether extras are included, such as app control or a transport cart. For a cordless robot, the cleaning time per battery charge is important.

Maintenance

A Dolphin robot collects dirt in its own filter, which you rinse out after cleaning. Follow the manual for maintaining the filter and brushes, and store the robot dry outside the season. Check occasionally whether the cable is not tangled and whether the brushes are still in good condition.

Safe use

Connect the power supply to an earthed socket with a residual current device (RCD) and position it at the distance from the water stated in the manual. Remove the robot from the water before swimming.

Cable or battery?

A corded robot can clean for as long as the programme lasts and does not need to be charged. A cordless robot such as the Liberty has no cable in the water, but needs to go on the charger in between. Check the specifications for the cleaning time per charge and the charging time, and for the length of the cable on a corded robot.

What's included?

A Dolphin robot with a cable comes with a power supply and a cable; some models also include a transport cart, app control or an extra filter. A cordless Liberty comes with a charger. A transport cart is handy if you often take the robot out of the water and put it away again.
