Compare Zodiac pool robots

Zodiac makes pool robots and pool cleaners and belongs to Fluidra. On this page you compare Zodiac robots with the key specifications and the current price at the shop. Boender Outdoor doesn't sell anything itself: you always order from the shop, with their delivery and terms.

Zodiac pool robots

Zodiac has several series of electric robots, such as the Alpha, Voyager, Freerider, Vortex, Vortrax, CNX and Sweepy. The robots differ in what they clean (only the floor, or also the wall and the waterline), in cable length and in extras such as app control or a trolley. With the CNX-Li and the Freedom models, the robot runs on a battery. The title and specifications show what each model can do.

Hydraulic pool cleaners

The MX6, MX9 and MX10 are hydraulic pool cleaners. They don't have their own motor, but work on the suction power of your pool's filter pump. Check the manual to see whether your pump and connection are suitable for this.

Spabot

The Spabot is a small robot with a battery for cleaning a hot tub. Use it as instructed in the manual and take it out of the hot tub before you get in. Check the specifications for which hot tubs it's suitable for and how long it cleans on one battery charge.

Choosing and using it safely

Check which pool size and which type of floor a robot is intended for. Connect the power supply to an earthed socket with a residual current device (RCD), follow the manual and take the robot out of the water before anyone swims.

Maintenance and storage

Rinse the filter or filter basket of a robot after cleaning, so it keeps suctioning well next time. Check the brushes and the cable now and then, and store the robot dry outside the season, as instructed in the manual. A trolley makes it easier to bring a heavy robot to the pool.

What's included?

A Zodiac robot with a cord comes with a power supply and a cable; some models also include a trolley, app control or extra filters for fine or coarse dirt. A cordless robot comes with a charger. Check the title and specifications for what's included with a model, so you can compare robots properly.

Robot or hydraulic?

An electric robot works independently of your filter pump and has its own filter. A hydraulic cleaner is simpler, but needs the pool's filter pump to move. Which one suits you depends on your pool, your pump and how much you want to do yourself.
