Compare Greenworks cordless garden tools: 24V, 40V and 60V
Greenworks is a brand that mainly focuses on cordless garden tools. You will find lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and trimmers in various voltages, as well as a robot lawn mower and a few corded machines. On this page you can compare Greenworks products with the current price at the shop.
What does Greenworks offer?
- Lawn mowers: cordless mowers from 33 to 51 cm, including wheel-driven (self-propelled) models, and the Optimow robot lawn mower.
- Hedge trimmers on 24V, 40V, 48V and 60V, and a pole pruner set with hedge trimmer.
- Chainsaws and pruning saws on battery power.
- Leaf blowers and blower-vacuum machines.
- Grass trimmers and brush cutters and a pressure washer.
Which voltage should you choose?
Greenworks has several battery systems alongside one another. The 24V range is light and suitable for smaller gardens; many heavier 24V machines work with two batteries at once and are then called 48V (2x24V). The 40V range is the mid-range option with enough power for an average garden. The 60V range is the most powerful and intended for large lawns and heavier work. Batteries only fit within their own voltage. If you already have a Greenworks battery, choose machines from the same system.
Versions labelled "body" or "excl. battery and charger" are supplied without a battery. Models with a K in the type code, such as K2 or K4, are usually supplied with batteries and a charger; the number indicates the battery capacity in Ah. With the Battery included filter, you can see this straight away.
How to compare Greenworks
This brand page brings together all the Greenworks products we compare. Use the filters to select by type, drive and, for machines, by voltage and whether the battery is included. Sort by price to put the most affordable models at the top, or by popularity to see which models visitors view most often at a shop. The product page shows the full specifications.
Battery and charger
With cordless tools, the battery capacity, in ampere-hours (Ah), determines how long you can work. A 4 Ah battery lasts around twice as long as a 2 Ah battery of the same voltage. For a large lawn or a long hedge, a second battery is handy, so you can swap over while the other one charges. Store batteries indoors in a dry, frost-free place and charge them to half before winter.
Comparing prices
For each Greenworks product, you can see the current price at the shop. Prices are updated daily and, where available, you can also see the price history, so you can tell whether an offer is genuinely good value. If you want to wait for a model to become cheaper, set a price alert on the product page. You always order directly from the shop. You can find more brands and types at garden tools.
Frequently asked questions
Which Greenworks battery fits which machine?
Greenworks has separate battery systems for 24V, 40V and 60V. A battery only fits machines with the same voltage. 48V machines work with two 24V batteries.
Which Greenworks lawn mower should I choose?
For a small lawn, a 24V or 40V mower with a 33 to 41 cm cutting width is enough. For large lawns, choose a 40V or 60V mower from 46 to 51 cm, possibly self-propelled.
What does self-propelled mean?
With a self-propelled lawn mower, a motor drives the wheels, so you don't have to push the mower yourself. Handy for a large or sloping lawn.
Does Greenworks make a robot lawn mower?
Yes, the Optimow. Check the model to see which lawn size it is suitable for.
