Campingaz camping stoves, camping barbecues and cool boxes
Campingaz is a French brand known for its blue gas cartridges and the camping stoves that run on them. The brand also makes camping barbecues, cool boxes and cool bags. On this page you compare Campingaz camping products with the current price at the shop.
What will you find from Campingaz?
- Camping stoves: compact burners such as the 206, Bleuet, Twister and Camp & Trek, tabletop models such as the Camp Bistro and Bivouac, and two-burner stoves such as the Camping Kitchen 2, Camping Cook and Base Camp.
- Camping barbecues: the Party Grill, which combines grilling and cooking, the portable Attitude 2go, the 360 Grill, the Bistro Grill and planchas such as the Othello and Onyx.
- Cool boxes and cool bags: passive cool boxes such as the Icetime and Isotherm Extreme, the thermoelectric Powerbox Plus and folding cool bags from the Fold 'n Cool series.
Which gas fits the stove?
With Campingaz you often see a code such as CV or R in the name. It tells you which type of gas the stove takes: a cartridge you click or screw on, or a gas bottle with a hose and pressure regulator. Some stoves, such as the Camping Kitchen 2 Maxi and the Party Grill 400, come in both versions. Check which gas the stove needs in the product details before you order.
Cooking and grilling on one stove
The Party Grill is a round appliance with a burner on which you place a grill plate, pan or cooking pot. The Camping Kitchen models have a lid that also serves as a windshield, and some versions have a grill plate next to the burner. A portable barbecue such as the Attitude 2go sits on a table and travels with you in the car. Think about what you like to cook on holiday: a grill plate suits meat and vegetables, while a pan or pot is handier for pasta and soup.
Cool boxes and cool bags
The Icetime and Isotherm Extreme are hard cool boxes without power that you keep cool with ice packs. The Powerbox Plus is thermoelectric and runs on 12 volts in the car, with some versions on 230 volts too. The Fold 'n Cool cool bags fold flat when empty, which is handy if you are short on space. Each product lists the capacity and the connections.
Cooking safely
Always place a camping stove on a stable surface outside the tent, or under an open awning with enough ventilation. With a stove on a gas bottle, check that the hose and the pressure regulator are firmly attached and have not dried out. After cooking, turn off the gas first and let the stove cool down before you put it away.
How to compare Campingaz
Use the filters to choose by type, capacity, cooling type and colour, and sort by price or popularity. You always order from the shop itself. Separate gas cartridges are not listed on this page. Tents and cool boxes from a sister brand can be found under Coleman, and other camping barbecues under Cadac. All camping gear together can be found under camping.
Frequently asked questions
What does CV mean with Campingaz?
CV stoves work with Campingaz CV cartridges: cartridges with a valve that you click or screw on and can remove again. The product details state which gas the stove needs.
Can I connect a Campingaz camping stove to a gas bottle?
Only with stoves designed for it, such as the Camping Kitchen versions for a gas bottle. For that you need a hose and the right pressure regulator.
What is a Campingaz Party Grill?
A round gas appliance on a cartridge, with a grill plate and often a pan or hotplate that you place on top. That way you grill and cook on one burner.
Do I buy Campingaz through Boender Outdoor?
No. Boender Outdoor compares prices and does not sell anything itself. You order from the shop, with its own delivery and terms.
