A corner sofa rarely fits on a balcony or a strip along the house wall. Separate chairs or a small set follow the shape of the space better, and you can easily rearrange them.
1. Talara: two lounge chairs with side table
The Talara is the smallest set in this overview: two lounge chairs measuring 87 x 80 x 68.5 cm and a round side table of Ø51.5 cm with a white terrazzo top. The frame is made of FSC-certified acacia wood in white wash with taupe rope, and the cushions are 13 cm thick. The manufacturer itself describes it as a set for a smaller patio.

Why it fits: you can place two separate chairs side by side against the balcony wall or diagonally in a corner, and move them along with the sun. Note: according to the manufacturer, you should treat acacia wood once a year with teak oil or a wood care product.
2. Preci: 4 seats on 126 x 76 cm
According to the specifications, the Preci measures 126 cm long and 76 cm wide, with 4 seats. A table is included, with a top in light brown Vironwood. The frame is aluminium in taupe, the 8 cushions are sand-coloured and the seat height is 40 cm.

Note: the product information does not say whether 126 x 76 cm is the size of the sofa or of the whole arrangement. If your balcony is tight, ask the shop for the measurements of each part. Prefer carbon black? The Ricca measures 126 x 71.5 cm and also has 4 seats; according to the specifications, no table is included.
3. Springs lounge set: narrow and 175.5 cm wide
According to the specifications, the Springs aluminium lounge set is 175.5 cm long, 72 cm wide and 71 cm high: a three-seater sofa with an armchair. The seat height is 43 cm and the seat depth 45 cm, and you get 8 cushions with a seat cushion 10 cm thick. The frame is aluminium in carbon black with sand-coloured cushions.

Why it fits: with a depth of 72 cm, it fits along a wall or on a long, narrow patio. Note: according to the specifications, no table is included, and here too it does not say whether the measurement refers to the sofa or the whole set. Check this with the shop.
4. Cinto: chairs or a daybed
The Cinto consists of two lounge chairs, two sliding footstools and a small side table. Push the chairs and footstools together and you have a compact daybed; used separately, the footstools serve as extra seating or as an extension of the chair. The manufacturer describes the set as suitable for a balcony or small patio. Everything is made of aluminium, with a teak-look top on the table and teak-look armrests. The set weighs 23.8 kg.

Compact corner sets for a small corner
If you have a corner free between the house wall and the fence, a corner set gives the most seating per square metre: the table sits inside the L and the corner isn't wasted. These are the most compact corner sets in the range that we can recommend.
5. Prinos lounge set: 240.5 x 240.5 cm
The Prinos consists of two sofa sections and a corner element, together 240.5 x 240.5 x H65 cm, with a square lounge table of 69 x 69 x H41 cm. What sets it apart are the side trays on both sides of the sofa, where you can put drinks or snacks without a side table. 6. Lincoln lounge set: low and 246.5 x 246.5 cm
The Lincoln is a low corner set measuring 246.5 x 246.5 cm, with a seat height of 35 cm and a seat depth of 59 cm. The frame is aluminium in anthracite with rope, and you get 12 sand-coloured cushions with seat cushions 12 cm thick. A low set looks less bulky, which suits a small garden well.

7. Esmee lounge set: 248 x 179 cm, left or right
The Esmee is longer, but at 179 cm on the short side it is narrower than the other corner sets. That means it fits in a rectangular corner where a set with equal sides wouldn't. According to the specifications, a table with a glass top is included. The frame is aluminium in carbon black, the 9 cushions are grey and the set is 61 cm high.

Why it fits: you choose the side of the long edge yourself. This card shows the left-hand version; there is also an Esmee right. Check the photo to see which side the long edge is on, because "left" and "right" don't mean the same thing for every brand.
How much floor space does each corner set need?
The size of the set is not the space you need. Using the rule of thumb from how much space do you need for a lounge set, for a set in a corner you add 60 cm of clearance to the length and the depth, or 90 cm if you want generous room. Rounded to the nearest 5 cm:

Does your patio fall between two sizes? Then choose the smaller set. A lounge corner that is slightly tight for a birthday party is less bothersome than a set you have to squeeze around every day. If your corner is smaller than roughly 3 by 2.4 metres, choose one of the sets for a balcony or small patio above.
Mark out the set with masking tape before you order, and leave some garden chairs in place for an evening. If you can still easily walk to the shed or the back door, it really fits.

Common mistakes
Choosing based on the photo instead of the size
In a product photo, every set looks spacious and airy. Always compare the outer dimensions in the specifications with your own patio, including clearance.
A corner set on a narrow balcony
Even the narrowest corner set in this overview is 179 cm on the short side, and it won't fit on a balcony 1.5 metres deep. On a narrow strip, separate chairs or a small set work better.
Assuming a table is included when it isn't
Not every set comes with a table. For the Lincoln, the Springs lounge set and the Ricca, the specifications state that no table is included. Read what is in the set before you order.
No place for the cushions
