Compare CookKing fire bowls and fire baskets

CookKing is a brand from Poland that makes steel fire bowls in many models and sizes, plus fire baskets, tripods and grill grates. On this page you compare CookKing products with the key specifications and the current price at the shop. Boender Outdoor does not sell anything itself: you always order from the shop, with its delivery and terms.

CookKing fire bowls

Most CookKing products are steel fire bowls. The Indiana comes in 60, 70, 80 and 100 cm, the Viking in 60, 80 and 100 cm and as the Viking XXL, and the Polo in 60, 70 and 80 cm. There are also the Bali, Haiti, Tunis, Palma, Panama, Toronto, Bourbon, Blaze and Palermo XXL. The premium models Dallas, Fat Boy and Kongo have a diameter of 85 cm. The Cuba is a square 70 x 70 cm fire bowl with a grill grate, and there is a lid for it too.

Fire baskets

Besides the bowls, CookKing makes fire baskets: the 45 cm Flame, the 60 cm Verona and the Lago. A fire basket is taller than a fire bowl and shows the fire all around.

Tripods, grill grates and griddles

For cooking over the fire there are tripods of 180 and 200 cm, without a grate or with a 60 cm grill grate or a 70 cm stainless steel grate, and a 200 cm tripod with a pulley. There are round and square grill grates in black steel and stainless steel, including 44 x 44, 50 x 50 and 58 x 58 cm. A griddle ring is a steel ring that sits around the fire bowl: the fire burns in the middle and you cook on the edge. It comes in 98 and 102 cm, and there are griddles with grill grate in 82 and 98 cm.

What to look for when choosing

First compare the diameter of the fire bowl with your patio and the number of people, using the Diameter filter. If you want to cook on it, check whether a griddle or grate fits the size of your bowl; this is in the title or on the product page. A tripod needs space above and around the fire.

Using it safely

Only light a fire in the open air, never under a canopy, pergola, parasol or awning, and never indoors or in a tent. Keep a generous distance from your house, trees, hedges and fences, and follow the manual. Place the fire bowl on a stable, non-combustible surface such as paving or gravel. Burn dry, untreated wood, no waste or painted wood, and never put methylated spirits on a burning fire. Keep watch, especially with children and pets around, and have something to put the fire out close by. Check your local rules; in the Netherlands a stookalert from the RIVM may apply.
