Compare Gardena garden tools: watering, mowing and pruning
Gardena is a German brand for garden tools, founded in 1961 and now part of the Husqvarna Group. Gardena is best known in the Netherlands for its garden hose couplings, hose reels and sprinklers, but also makes lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, trimmers, leaf blowers and pruning tools. On this page you compare Gardena products with the current price at the shop.
What does Gardena offer?
- Watering: garden hoses such as the Liano textile hose, hose carts and wall-mounted hose boxes (AquaRoll, RollUp), sprinklers, spray nozzles and watering computers.
- Lawn mowers: cylinder mowers, electric and cordless lawn mowers such as the PowerMax and HandyMower, and scarifiers.
- Trimmers, leaf blowers and pressure washers on battery.
- Pruning tools and hand tools: pruning shears, loppers, a telescopic cordless pruning saw, chainsaws, spades and grass shears.
Battery: 18V P4A
Gardena's cordless machines work with an 18V battery from the Power for All system, recognisable by "18V P4A" in the name. That battery fits the entire 18V range from Gardena. Models with "solo" in the name are supplied without battery and charger, "set" or "ready-to-use" with. With the Battery included filter you see this straight away.
Watering
With Gardena, hose, couplings, sprinklers and reels fit together. When choosing a garden hose, pay attention to the diameter: 1/2 inch for most gardens, 5/8 or 3/4 inch for long distances. With a watering computer on the tap, the water comes on automatically at fixed times.
How to compare Gardena
This brand page lists all the Gardena products we compare together. With the filters you choose by type, drive and, for machines, by voltage and whether the battery is included. Sort by price to put the most affordable models at the top, or by popularity to see which models visitors view most often at a shop. The product page shows the full specifications.
Pruning and hand tools
Gardena also has its own range for hand tools. The pruning shears from the PremiumCut series cut with a bypass blade, suitable for live wood. For thicker branches there are loppers such as the EasyCut and the telescopic TeleCut, where you can extend the arms to reach higher. For lawn edges there is a manual grass shear that you can rotate. Among the hand tools you will find, among other things, spades from the NatureLine series and a small hand rake. For robot mowing there is the Sileno series, and the small HandyMower is a cordless mower for small lawns. This way you can maintain most of the garden with one brand, from lawn and hedge to borders and watering.
Comparing prices
For every Gardena product you see the current price at the shop. Prices are updated daily and, where available, you also see the price history, so you can see whether an offer is genuinely good value. If you want to wait for a model to become cheaper, set a price alert on the product page. You always order from the shop itself. More brands and types can be found at garden tools.
