How does the Gravity Series work?

With the Gravity Series you fill a vertical hopper with charcoal. The coals drop down by gravity to where they burn, and a fan controls the airflow. You set the temperature you want and the barbecue holds it, much like a pellet barbecue, but on charcoal. That lets you grill hot as well as smoke for hours without constantly adding coals or adjusting vents. The 600 and the 800 work the same way; the 800 is larger, so you have more room on the grate.

If you want the flavour of charcoal but also the convenience of a set temperature, a Gravity Series is the logical choice: the 600 for the average household, the 800 if you often cook for large groups.
