Compare RedFire fire pits and fire bowls

RedFire is a brand of the Dutch company OutTrade, which also carries patio heaters from Sunred. RedFire makes steel fire baskets and a wide choice of fire bowls. On this page you compare RedFire products with the key specifications and the current price at the shop. Boender Outdoor does not sell anything itself: you always order from the shop, with its delivery and terms.

RedFire fire baskets

The steel fire baskets are the Irving in Medium and Large, the Baylor, the grey 60 cm Reso, the Dallas with a griddle plate and the Denver with an ash plate. The Volcano is a fire basket for wood and pellets in Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, each with a protective cover. The Small and Medium are made for the table and come in stainless steel, black and olive green, among others.

RedFire fire bowls

The Onyx and Onyx Classic are fire bowls you can also use as a barbecue, in 60 and 80 cm, and there is an Onyx Table fire bowl. There are also the Orion, Havana, Oulu, Tornio, Pello, Salo and Tervo. With a log store there are the Juva, the Arizona with poker, the Matanzas and the Selki. The Mikor has a grill grate, the Jubilee and Lion are compact 45 cm bowls, and the Woody and Madison have a Corten look. As accessories there is a 45 x 45 cm ash plate and a barbecue tripod.

What to look for when choosing

If you want to cook over the fire, look at the Onyx bowls, the Mikor or the Dallas, or use the With grill grate filter. A bowl with a log store keeps your wood close at hand. For a sturdy outdoor table, a Volcano Small or Medium is an option. Compare the size with your patio using the Diameter filter, and choose the colour that suits your garden: black, grey or Corten look.

Care

The Volcano comes with its own protective cover; only put it on once the fire basket has cooled down completely. Store other fire baskets and fire bowls dry after use or cover them, so that rainwater does not collect in them. Only throw away the ash once it is completely cold. An ash plate under the fire basket keeps the surface cleaner; follow the manual.

Using it safely

Only light a fire in the open air, never under a canopy, pergola, parasol or awning, and never indoors or in a tent. Keep a generous distance from your house, trees, hedges and fences, and follow the manual. Place the fire basket or fire bowl on a stable, non-combustible surface such as paving or gravel. Burn dry, untreated wood or the pellets named in the manual, never leave the fire unattended and have something to put it out close by. Check your local rules; in the Netherlands a stookalert from the RIVM may apply.
