What to consider when choosing a parasol

• Size: a parasol should be at least as large as the area to be shaded. Calculate: table 120x80 cm → parasol minimum Ø 300 cm.
• Base: a good parasol base is heavy enough to keep the parasol stable — allow approximately 10-15 kg per metre of diameter.
• Fabric material: Olefin and Spuncrylic are the most UV-resistant and colour-fast fabrics; UPF 50+ offers the best protection.
• Tilt function: a tilt function lets you adjust the shade to follow the sun — ideal for the midday sun.
