• Size: a parasol should be at least as large as the area to be shaded. Calculation: table 120x80 cm → parasol at least Ø 300 cm.
• Base: a good parasol base is heavy enough to keep the parasol stable — allow approximately 10-15 kg per metre diameter.
• Fabric material: Olefin and Spuncrylic are the most UV-resistant and colour-fast fabrics; UPF 50+ offers the best protection.
• Tilt function: a tilt function allows you to adjust the shade according to the sun — ideal for the afternoon sun.
