What does Purple Leaf offer?

• Cantilever parasols: models that rotate 360 degrees, in sizes from 250 x 250 cm to 450 x 350 cm and round up to Ø400 cm. There are versions with built-in LED lighting, with a double canopy, with a wood-look pole and tiltable models.
• Centre pole parasols: parasols with a central pole for the balcony or terrace, square, rectangular or round, from 180 x 120 cm to 335 cm diameter. Many models can be tilted forwards and backwards.
• Sun loungers: aluminium sun loungers in sets of two with a side table or coffee table, also with wheels, armrests or an adjustable backrest.

Cantilever or centre pole parasol?

With a cantilever parasol the pole stands beside the table or lounge set, so there is nothing in the middle. That is handy above a lounge set or a long table. A cantilever parasol does need a heavy base. A centre pole parasol is lighter and cheaper, takes up little space and fits well on a balcony or above a small table with a hole for the pole. Which parasol size?

A rule of thumb is that the canopy should be about 50 cm larger than the table or seating area beneath it on all sides. For a table for four people, 250 to 300 cm is usually enough. For a lounge set or a table for six to eight people, choose 330 cm or more. A rectangular canopy suits a long table, while a square or round canopy suits a round table or lounge corner. A parasol with LED lighting

On models with LED lighting the lights sit in the ribs, so the parasol also gives light in the evening. On a solar-powered version a solar panel charges a battery during the day. Close the parasol in strong wind and use a cover in winter. A parasol with a double canopy has an opening between the two layers, which lets warm air escape and means the fabric catches less wind.
