What is a cantilever parasol?

A cantilever parasol has the support pole positioned to the side rather than in the centre. The shade canopy therefore "floats" freely above your seating area. This design offers many advantages: you can rotate the canopy, tilt it and adjust the height, so you always have shade precisely where you need it. Collapse your cantilever parasol in winds of force 5 or higher. Clean the canopy seasonally with lukewarm water and mild soap. Protect the frame and canopy out of season with a sturdy parasol cover. Aluminium frames are maintenance-free; check hinges and the opening mechanism annually.
