Sizes for commercial use

Choose a parasol with a sturdy aluminium or steel frame, UPF 50+ fabric and a wind ventilation flap. Models of 300 cm or larger provide sufficient shade for terrace furniture.
How wind resistant are commercial parasols?
Commercial parasols with wind ventilation opening and reinforced ribs are more stable than consumer models. In wind force 5 or higher we always recommend closing the parasol.
How many parasols do I need for my terrace?
Allow one parasol of Ø 250–300 cm per table with 4 chairs. For a row of 3–4 tables, you could also place one large cantilever parasol of 400 cm.
Can I have a commercial parasol printed with my logo?

Which base suits a commercial parasol?
An in-ground parasol base is ideal for permanent installations. A cross base with concrete-filled tiles is the best choice if you want to move the parasol. Allow a minimum 50 kg base per parasol of Ø 300 cm.
How long does a commercial parasol last?
With proper maintenance, a commercial parasol lasts 5–10 years. Replace the fabric earlier if it fades or tears. The frame generally lasts longer than the fabric.
