Installing Garden Lights: how it works

The Garden Lights system is designed for DIY enthusiasts. The flex cable connects the transformer to all fittings in the garden. Thanks to the push-on connector technology, you never need to cut the cable — you simply clamp the fitting connector onto the cable. This lets you expand the system whenever you want:

• Choose a transformer with enough wattage for all connected fittings
• Connect a maximum of 8 fittings per cable run
• Bury the flex cable 10 cm deep in the ground for a neat finish
• Use a cable connector to divide extra runs

IP rating: how water-resistant is garden lighting?

All Garden Lights fittings have an IP rating that indicates water-tightness. Most models have IP44 (splash-proof) or IP65 (jet-proof), making them suitable for use in the garden, even in rain and frost.
