Buying a garden corner sofa: tips and considerations
A corner sofa for the garden or terrace combines maximum seating space with a sleek, cohesive design. Two sofa sections in an L-shape create a cosy corner where you can sit comfortably with multiple people. These are the main considerations.
Size and available space
Measure your terrace or garden before buying a corner sofa. A standard corner sofa for 4–5 people takes up approximately 200 × 150 cm. Allow at least 60 cm of walking space on all sides. If you also want a table, you will need more space.
Tip: draw the layout to scale on paper or use masking tape on your terrace to visualise the dimensions.
Modular or fixed corner sofa?

Material
The most common materials for a garden corner sofa:

- Polyrattan or wicker — woven appearance, comfortable.

Cushions and upholstery

Price and quality
A good outdoor corner sofa costs between €400 and €1,500. Don't go for the cheapest option: poor quality will warp or break within two seasons. Choose a solid frame made from anodised aluminium or FSC-certified wood.
