Maintaining sun loungers: how to keep your garden lounger looking great for years

A garden lounger sits in the sun all season long and has to deal with rain, bird droppings, sunscreen and swimming pool water. With the right care, it will last for years.

Maintaining textile upholstery

Textile dries quickly and is easy to clean:

  • Clean with water and a soft brush.
  • For stubborn dirt: Star brite Outdoor Textile Cleaner.
  • Allow the upholstery to dry completely before storage — otherwise mould can develop.

Maintaining teak loungers

  1. Clean the wood with the Star brite Teak Cleaner.
  2. Allow to dry for 24 hours.
  3. Apply teak oil along the grain.
  4. Repeat at the end of the season.
